Although the event “Thailand Cloud Security Summit 2024: Elevating Security Beyond the Clouds” concluded on June 19, 2024, at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel in Bangkok, it successfully brought together insights and trends under the theme “Cybersecurity: Knowing is more reassuring,” which was organized by the NCSA in collaboration with GWS CLOUD, the summit garnered significant interest and participation from both public and private sector entities, exceeding expectations and resulting in a highly successful and informative event.

With many organizations now adopting cloud systems for easier and more efficient data access, the modern era demands seamless connectivity. However, this also brings data security risks. The National Cyber Security Agency, established in 2019, oversees cybersecurity. It sets guidelines, monitors, and regulates critical information infrastructure across both the government and private sectors, while also educating and implementing policies to combat cyber threats.

In recent years, The Thai government has making efforts to promote “Cloud First Policy” to encourage the use of technology in public sectors, enhancing service efficiency for citizens.
