GWS CLOUD and Digiwin Software have joined forces to actively expand their presence in the Thai market, aiming to promote the migration of ERP systems to the cloud among enterprises in Thailand. Digiwin Software leverages its long-standing experience in providing ERP solutions and related support services to customers in the manufacturing sector, giving the company a deep understanding of real operational scenarios such as inventory management, cost control, and shop floor processes.

By combining this expertise with the value-added cloud services in which GWS CLOUD specializes, Thai enterprises are able to reduce the burden of managing systems, networks, and data backup, accelerate project deployment, and ensure stable long-term operation of their ERP systems.

As organizations across Thailand accelerate their digital transformation, ERP systems have become the core platform connecting critical processes ranging from raw material warehousing and manufacturing operations to financial management and reporting. However, enabling ERP systems to fully deliver their potential requires more than simply adopting software.

In practice, many organizations still face challenges such as relatively high infrastructure costs, limited IT manpower, and high employee turnover within IT teams. These issues make it difficult to transfer operational knowledge effectively and maintain efficient system management.

Inventory management challenges have been a major driving force for many organizations to adopt ERP. Mr. Kriangsak Sirapattayakul, senior consultant at Digiwin, explained that Inventory is sleeping money — capital that lies idle in the warehouse.

If demand forecasting for raw materials is inaccurate, companies may purchase more materials than necessary when orders arrive. Over time this can lead to excessive stock accumulation in warehouses and may eventually result in obsolete inventory or waste. In the end, that capital may quietly become wasted in the warehouse without the company even realizing it..

Mr. Kriangsak Sirapattayakul further noted that implementing ERP is an important investment that allows customers to control raw materials and costs more accurately, release cash flow, and enhance the long-term competitiveness of factories. At the same time, with comprehensive system planning, organizations can also improve their infrastructure, network architecture, and data backup mechanisms, creating a more stable and continuous operating environment even under constraints of manpower and resources.

In response to these challenges faced by enterprises in Thailand, Digiwin and GWS CLOUD, both of which possess cross-border service capabilities and operate in compliance with Thai regulations, officially signed a partnership agreement in 2025.

The collaboration aims to develop a comprehensive ‘one-stop, ready-to-use’ solution. The service scope covers everything from application layer planning and system environment preparation to operational support after deployment.

Within this partnership framework, Digiwin is responsible for ERP implementation in industrial environments, including consulting services, system deployment, and planning that aligns with actual factory operations. GWS CLOUD provides cloud infrastructure services while integrating backup and network services to ensure stable system operation, reduce IT maintenance costs, and support flexible system scalability as businesses grow.

Digiwin has long focused on ERP solutions for the manufacturing sector and related production support systems. Its parent company in Taiwan has more than forty years of industry experience and has successfully implemented ERP systems for more than fifty thousand organizations.

Since entering the Thai market in 2017, Digiwin has actively expanded its presence by establishing a complete local service team to provide consulting and implementation services tailored to the needs of local industries.

Meanwhile, GWS CLOUD has expanded its presence in Thailand by leveraging its technological expertise to provide reliable cloud environments for enterprise core systems. As part of this collaboration, GWS CLOUD has also designed dedicated ERP support mechanisms and data backup services for Digiwin, while supporting network infrastructure suited for factory and supply chain environments.

Both companies are long-established Taiwanese brands that have continued to earn recognition from the market and customers through their strong practical experience and professional expertise. By bringing their successful experience from Taiwan to Thailand, they aim to expand their customer base in the country and further deepen their engagement with key manufacturing sectors such as electronics assembly, automotive components, and metal processing.

Mr. Kriangsak Sirapattayakul, senior consultant at Digiwin, also emphasized that customers place great importance on whether there is a service team located in Thailand. Timely support and a deep understanding of local operational environments are critical for customers. The collaboration between the two companies directly addresses this important requirement.

In addition, in response to the relatively high employee turnover often seen in Thai organizations, Digiwin has developed standardized methods to ensure that ERP projects can continue smoothly even when personnel changes occur. The consulting team standardizes and systematizes operational processes, while also recording training videos and real on-site operating procedures during the training process. This allows organizations to review the materials at any time and significantly reduces the manpower required for repeated support.

On this basis, organizations that adopt ERP together with GWS CLOUD cloud services gain even greater advantages because they are no longer constrained by hardware limitations. Infrastructure maintenance costs are effectively eliminated, while professional teams provide 24/7 support for data backup and security, ensuring systems are both easy to use and secure.

One example is a well-known Taiwanese automotive parts manufacturer that established a new factory in Thailand. Due to tight project timelines, the customer needed to complete ERP deployment within only three months in order to connect order management with internal factory operations.

The project adopted the Digiwin ERP on GWS CLOUD model, migrating the system to the cloud instead of building a traditional server room and purchasing hardware. As a result, the system environment could be prepared much more quickly, and the deployment was completed in less than half of the originally planned time. Even without dedicated in-house IT personnel responsible for system maintenance, the ERP system continues to operate reliably and stably.

This case clearly demonstrates that when an experienced ERP implementation team is combined with reliable cloud infrastructure, deployment timelines can be significantly accelerated, operational risks can be effectively reduced, and customers can focus more fully on developing their core business.
